Weekly Inspirations - five

Click here for the Italian version.

When I'm not working I like to spend my time online reading my favorite blogs or watching new DIY projects on Pinterest. I love Pinterest, it's a great source of inspirations for me and my online to do list!
These are my Pinterest weekly inspirations:

ART: I'm totally in love with this painter! His name is Josep Moncada and this is his virtual gallery, take a look! The theme of all his paintings is "water", I love how he has painted the water's sparkling surface, it's perfect!

DIY : Nautical fever? Yes!! This is a supercute and fast DIY at Fraise&Basilic website, you only need a rope and some ribbons to create a beautiful nautical knot bracelet. (obviously it's in my to do list!)

PHOTOGRAPHY : I'm obsessed by flamingo, I love this animal since I was a little kid! This is a wonderful photo, I like the colors and clearly I like the sleeping flamingo.

INTERIOR : Do you like ombre? I do!(take a look at my last DIY project!) This is a great ombre wood wall!I think it would be a nice summer DIY project if you have in your house a wall like this!

YUM : The 28th July will be the national day of chocolate milk  in America! This chocolate milkshake recipe is for all the American people! I would like to be american for that day!! I've decided...I'm going to celebrate it! :)

That's all!! Have a nice weekend.

Summer trips - Ripa Limosani

Click here for the Italian version.

Hi there! Few days ago I went to Ripa Limosani, a little town in the south of Italy, with my cousin, my aunt and my little niece Arianna.
Ripa Limosani is very important to me, It's my grandma's hometown and when I was a child I spent many summers there. I remember that I used to play with my cousin and my sister on the church's stairs!
It was strange coming back into these memories and realizing that I've grown up.

I love this small town, the people who live there are so kind and there is always a chill air.
These three days were beautiful, I've remembered a lot of things of my childhood and it was nice.

I hope your summer trips are going to be full of memories!!
Have a nice Summer!

DIY - cerulean ombre dresser

Click here for the Italian version.

Finally I can share with you this project I've started last summer!
My grandma gave me this dresser some years ago and I've always wanted to refresh its look. I really like old furniture, I've always thought they have a history, so when I've seen this dresser in my little room I wanted to take it with me, but with a different appearance!
It's been a very long project but I'm really satisfied with the result!
Let's start: DIY - cerulean ombre dresser, this is totally a summer project!

Polka dot & chevron potholder!

Click here for the Italian version.

Hi there! Summer is coming to town and I'm totally overwhelmed by its sunny energy!
I've celebrated the first day of Summer this weekend with my special friends Sara and Costanza. We've spent a very relaxing night eating pizza and walking around in the historical center of Rome. I really love walking in Summer nights, the air feels fresh and everything is pleasant.
Today I want to share with you an easy DIY project that I've made this Sunday.
The "motto" this time will be Re-design your potholder!
